Quanah Schott: A new French pâtisserie on Mainzer Straße

Quanah Schott is a new French pâtisserie that recently opened up in a small storefront near the Biofrischmarkt (Mainzer Straße 86/88). It’s pretty tiny, and as far as I can tell they haven’t done any advertising. Still, they seem to be doing pretty good business. Derek and I tried two of their macarons right after they opened, and I thought both were way too sweet. Then a few weeks later day they were giving out free samples of some chocolate brownie-like substance, which was heavenly. So when we needed a dessert for a dinner party on Friday, Derek suggested getting it from Quanah Schott.
